Very nice Sam! Looking at this just jogged my memory of milgrain tools. I'm neck deep in a die engraving project right now that requires a beaded circle about 1mm wide. Do you know if they make milgrain wheels that big? I looked online and don't understand the number system they use. The photo below shows the method I'm using. It works ok if I hold my mouth right, but I think a milgrain wheel would produce a more even bead. /Users/ronlandis/Desktop/sinkingbeads.jpg

Beautiful work Sam. Have you been doing any palladium now that platinum is so high. I been using it more and more lately. Works almost identical to plat. and a whole lot less expensive. A little lighter and approached more like gold when sizing or assembling, put still fairly high heats. I love the stuff.

Ron Gesswien has some big millgrain tools. They are used with a millgrain machine for wedding bands, but I think they can be used without the machine. Here's the link.
