Pretty cool Sam!

Now I'd like to see your engraved version - mostly because I'm confident that you can engrave it while I have no idea of how you'll manage both the relief and the 'colors'. If I see how you do it then there's the chance that someday I'll be able to figure out / learn how to do it.

That's really nice your getting pretty handy with illustrator aren’t you. Now grayscale it and cut it:) That would make a beautiful medallion for a dignitary, out of gold and pearls and green enamel. Very nice Sam

I was thinking the same thing. It has an oriental/ samari look to it. Very cool.
I did a trial of Illustrator, I was lost. Looks like you are getting very good results, I may need to give it a second chance and apply myself this time. Brian

WOW...the intensity of the colors is astounding.

I too would like to see it engraved.

I was just perusing one of David Darom's books yesterday and had noticed some amazing color engraving displayed that Ray Cover had done. It was the Custom Folding Knives books. For anyone that likes knives and engraving, I highly recommend them.
