The third image is kind of interesting I think. I got a stack of ornamental art books and chose an element from each one to add to the scroll backbone I drew. This was to show that you don't need to copy someone verbatim, but borrow and assemble bits and pieces from different sources and eventually your own style will emerge. Some students said it still looks like my work, and I guess that's because of the shading.

Thank you Sam. Unfortunately I don't have Apple; rather I have Windows 10.
Is there any comparable program that can be used with Windows?

There must be but I left Windows in 2006 and haven’t kept up with it. Microsoft has a tablet you can draw on though. Sorry I don’t have more info.
