It took a while, but finally it is done. With new grips and case as well. My biggest project so far - stainless Sig Sauer P226. Very fun and challenging project, from the first sketches, to milling and gold gilding the grips and making the box. At first the grips were from white plastic (as seen on the model photos), to sort of imitate ivory, but that idea got scrapped and actual grips were from maple.

And we also made a special photoshoot with a model to celebrate this wonderful project :)

Because of that little fun iron tooth, it christened this project as a "Iron Tooth Skull"

I also had my own Sig X-Five (future engraving project) at hand, so we used that one for extra wow effect :)

Thank you for the kind words!

Actually my Sig is the plain one, it's a future project. The pretty one was for a client :).

I also don't have time (anymore) for my own stuff...

Fantastic work, Viljo! Beautifully designed and engraved. It's obvious that you put a lot of thought into this project and it shows.

You're a first class guy and it has been a pure pleasure to watch your growth as an engraver. :clapping: :beerchug:
