quite some time ago i gave info on how to temper small tools. if you have a way of quickly finding that, it might be useful to some. if you cant find it, i'll send it again in a couple days.

There are at least two, maybe three very good threads about scroll design in form of beginners critique that should be included. Myself and Marcus participated, Ron Smith in one as I recall.
