Sam,Thanks for sharing the video really enjoyed watching, it reminded me of the weekend I spent in Phil at the NRA convention watching Neil Hartliep who engraved the same way as the Asians also spent time watching Howard Dove engraving at the Colt booth. J.J.

very cool! I have a young nephew who is very much into Samurai culture so I made him a mini tsuba pendant for xmas. I'm no silversmith but it's made with copper, rimmed with silver and a gold heron, patinated with liver of sulphur, leather cord.

A person can always learn something new. And, you never know when you might use a technique. I liked the process of inlaying the tiny gold dots using a beading tool. :)
