What specs objective lens are you using with your Leica A60 Microscope fo engraving?

I got the .50 lens for that reason. I found that I wasn't doing anything that required me to magnify as much as the .63 would do. The .50 allows me to back off and see a whole 2x2 practice plate if I want to and also (1) gives me a little more distance from scope to hand position (which my arms and back appreciate) and (2) still lets me focus in more closely than I ever use.

The .50x lens should give you about 100+mm on the lowest magnification setting.
