I don't know about that, as there are a lot of very loveable guys in the engraving world which I am not sure I measure up to. But thank you very much. I do so appreciate your respect and love. "My cup runneth over".................Thanks buddy,
Thank you Arnaud.
Thanks Sam, you are a good friend of many years. Thanks for that friendship. It is such a pleasure knowing you and Abby.
Looking forward to swapping a song or two in Reno. I will throw an extra guitar in my van, but do remember to bring that thermal set thumb with the flat pick built in? Your latest thumb design was working so well in Emporia!
I trust that you and Liz will be celebrating, we will be toasting you and yours!
Thank you Roger, it was a great pleasure to see you again, and we did have some fun didn't we?.....Next time!
And Rod, old buddy, I will bring my new and improved thumb, but I'm afraid I will just stumble around like I usually do anyway.
How 'bout that song Winston was singing about this girl. He was singing right along. All of a sudden he stopped,........... (forgot the words)........ looked kind of somber, and said "She died"........... that was the end of the song........... And then, this little grin krept across Winston's face................. and we all died laughing. That was soooo funnnny!
Truly unforgetable moments, this was the song,
Winston laughed very much too, but finally quit..
SEVEN SPANISH ANGELS
(Written by Eddie Setser / Troy Seals)
Ray Charles & Willie Nelson
He looked down into the brown eyes
And said "Say a prayer for me"
And she threw her arms around him
Whispered "God will keep us free"
They could hear the riders coming
He said "This is my last fight,
"If they take me back to Texas,
"They won't take me back alive"
There were seven Spanish angels
At the altar of the Sun
They were praying for the lovers
In the Valley of the Gun
When the battle stopped and the smoke cleared
There was thunder from the throne
And seven Spanish angels
Took another angel home
She reached down and picked the gun up
That lay smoking in his hand
She said "Father please forgive me,
"I can't make it without my man"
And she knew the gun was empty
And she knew she couldn't win
But her final prayer was answered
When the rifles fired again
There were seven Spanish angels
At the altar of the Sun
They were praying for the lovers
In the Valley of the Gun
When the battle stopped and the smoke cleared
There was thunder from the throne
And seven Spanish angels
Took another angel home
There were seven Spanish angels (at the altar)
At the altar of the Sun (oh I believe)
They were praying for the lovers (yeah they was)
In the Valley of the Gun (well, well, well)
When the battle stopped and the smoke cleared (there was thunder)
There was thunder from the throne (oh yeah)
And seven Spanish angels
Took another angel home
