The symbol is a personal touch for my father in law, who has been as a real father to me over 18 years. and hopefully if I don’t balls it up that drawing will emerge onto the brass fuel cap for his triumph motorcycle.
Here’s a few pics of recent projects. It is now 12 moths since I first scratched something with intent!!! And some modest progress has been made. I just wish I’d taken this up 25 years ago…… oh well I’ll just have to live till I’m 150 now.

I purchased one of these, & Iam sure there will be those out there that dismiss it. However it is brilliant!!!! Came with 3 diamond stones in various grits and sharpens well with apex system and Lynda at templates. I then final polish with 5000 grit wet stone. I highly recommend it.

I like that a lot, if the leaves flowed clockwise the hands would be stroking them in that direction? Please don’t take that the wrong way, it just immediately came into my mind .

Iam very keen to practice and progress to a decent standard. All of the above were no transfer, just scribed then cut. As you can see the scroll added around the bouquet is rather wonky…The buckle is transferred design then cut.
