    Did ya try getting back in there with cotton swab & silver polish. Or….get a vise to clamp the work in. You can use scrap leather between the vise jaws & piece you’re working on. Good luck kent

    What grade lead? 2h, HB, 2b, 3b. Higher #’s in B allow for darker tones essential for graphite work imo. if ya got an art/ craft store near they can help ya I recommend regular pencils unless you want to fiddle around buy & changing different leads for your mechanical

    For me 69-70, BCT, fort Campbell,ky. had orders for Nam , cancelled them ,sent me to Germany. Used m-14’s there as well. When we record fired we used the officers 45’s, they weren’t as worn out as the non-coms from the arms room.

    Yep , way before 1983. Back in the M-14 days. I know lots of guys that shoot 1911’s. All in acp w/ target load. I been looking at Mikes design, for me it’s a little too busy For that pistol Imho. Artwork very good/ excellent. I guess the customer decides Ultimately.
