    “Surprised to find”….

I was out and about today and went to one of our popular local gun shops in Huntsville AL to pick up some ammo. They had a limit of one each on the calibers I was looking for so they suggested I go to there other store in Madison AL to buy also. Although they were out at that location while...

    Help with image transfers

I have a HP envy 4520(inkjet), solution on the work... dab the area with your finger until it gets tacky or just give it some tack time then apply the transfer. I would also add If your solution isn't tacky enough just add more resin or if it's too tacky add more alcohol to get the desired...

    Help with image transfers

Use Pictorico, print on the rough side not the smooth. If you rub with your finger tips you can tell the difference. For your transfer solution get some pine resin( I bought the rock type) 99% isopropyl alcohol & put them in a small mason jar. Put the jar in a pot of water on low to medium low...

    Winchester 94

Can this method be used if there are bulino scenes or would it mess with the finer details, if so could the scenes be protected with something like nail polish then removed with acetone?

    removing info on guns

What if a SN is barely legible, can it be recut and or moved on the action/ frame? I have tried to research this but find little to no info on this topic aside from SN being restored on firearms in a crime/ investigation or recut/ assigned a new one due to age. I know it is illegal to alter the...

Curious what is going on with this gun- etched, engraved, corroded?

I’m guessing it’s just a selling point hoping that collectors will buy it looking for something historically unique and the blood etching is a way to try and help validate the rifle being used in actual combat not an actual etching for the purpose of ornamentation....whether it was or wasn’t...

What has gone wrong with the Cafe?

Tried doing an update on Windows 10 about 3 weeks back and it crashed my PC, granted it was about 10yrs old. Took it to geek squad and they said the older PC’s were having issues with some of the new updates as they were more hard drive based than cloud, then said they had some great holiday...

    SHOT SHOW 2021just got cancelled...

Yep, a bit disappointing... really wanted to make the 2021 FEGA show but also decided not to. As you said Marty it gives another year plus to make 2022 a great show. Will you and Lee possibly be doing your joint seminar on animals and scenes in '22?

Turntable use ... i dont get it :(

Yep, then you need the turntable for sure. I've never used a turntable, just the vise. It has a screw on the side to set drag, rotate freely or lock down.
