    Mine has a screw right in the centre dome of base. Drive it in and the halves separate slightly making rotation more free.. but down the rotation is still relatively free... How about a large washer in either rubber, leather orteflon to create a little more drag. Not Adele, it if it hits...

    I’m surprised to hear platinum work hardens quickly. I don’t doubt it, i have never tried to inlay with it.. but i love sculpting it!

    hypothetically: the die may have been damaged, so the blemish was feathered in, rather than make a new die?

    They are in laying w 24... .7 is fine for 22 and lower... you will want 1mm or more if you are using 24, depending on the shape, or if it’s got structure, or substrate.
