at my last count, there were 342 transfer techniques. a better way-- draw on paper, to size needed, using very soft graphite pencil, then lift with tape, and transfer to object that has wax dabbed on it. compound curves almost force one to direct draw, or waste tons of time. ok, that's # 343
i finally got off the couch. the light is quality from the start. i have to modify my scope a bit for a good fit. i ihad o remove the .5 lens and shave just a tiny bit off the side of the lower lens housing for a good fit. works great, illuminates even better.
do you use it wet or dry / shouldn't make a difference. i have always lubed mine with a bit of drugstore mineral oil. cleaned with common toothbrush and some wd 40/ never an issue for me. grs is known for quality, but now and then, a booger gets out the door.
