I have my microscope mounted to my bench. And the ball vise on the bench. So both on the same surface.
It was a regular jewelers-bench. I did cut off bit of the legs. To get the workbench surface lower. So I can rest my arms on it when working.
Disc wobble is not a problem. The graver will ride on top so when the disc wobbles up and down the graver will go with it.
I also build a powerhone myself and it also has a little wobble. With the GRS angle fixture it doesn't matter. The fixture will move up and down the metal pole/rod. And the...

This hone is not very high right now $18 but still 5 days to go. The ceramic disc alone is worth alot. Top of my head $300,- just for the white ceramic disc.
I personally think for someone wanting to get in to...
Grs gravermach. with 2 pedals. New price $ ?? Cant find it on the GRS site. I think older model.
Monach graver handpiece for fine engraving. New price $390
Magnum graver handpiece for heavy work. New price $440
2 rotary handpieces. Also pricey new!
I dont see a compressor. The Black and gray...
What is your budget?
The foredom looks very unwieldy to me. And with any system you choose you also need something to sharpen the gravers and maybe some optivisors.
As for cutting chromeplated steel. I think chrome is very hard and might cause some headache. It might dull your gravers fast. Or...
If it is not a trinocular meaning 3 peepholes 2 for the eyes and 1 for a camera on top. Then you need an external camera setup. Or you need to attach a camera to 1 of the eyepieces. But then you cant really use the microscope for normally.
Like Jura uses and sells...
Also when you get new ones to compare. You will see that new gravers dont have a heel facet. That is something that you must put on. And it is very important to how a graver cuts.
Use clean alcohol again. And repeat until the alcohol stays clean. The alcohol will dissolve the shellac. But after the alcohol evaporates of your piece the dissolved shellac will be left on the piece in a fine layer. Maybe hot water will also wash the layer of shellac off.
What country are you...
A picture to help. Cut or grind the back part. So it will fit in the Qc-collet.
Make sure that the end of the graver touches the bottom of the Qc-collet so the power is transmitted efficiently to the graver. As other people have said you can cut it to the length you want. If you cut it in half...
Are you sure it is enameled? Because enameling and then cutting it away sounds like trouble. The enamel is very hard, it is like glass. So any burr's/cutters would dull very fast. And there is also a real risk of the enamel chipping.
Also the last picture hasn't got that shiny enamel look...
Argentium is sold here:
https://www.bijoumoderne.nl/
They will ship to Belgium. And their website is also available in French.
As for soldering you can use regular hard silver-solder. The only difference is that argentium becomes very brittle when at soldering temperature. So you can not push...
Argentium is a brand name, Continuum also I think. Both are more or less the same thing. A low tarnish alloy. You can also buy the alloy from a company like Legor. You add fine silver and cast it.
Where in EU are you? Maybe someone or I can help you find a supplier.
I would avoid any solder containing lead. Because if, in the future, someone where to heat the piece to repair it with silver-solder or for other reasons. The lead will start to eat the gold away. This will happen if you overheat the lead containing solder. Maybe someone can laserweld 24K in to...
Yes it makes a lot of sense! Smart move. We can only do some much with the time we have.
Maybe you can also ask Blaine Lewis from New Approach School. Maybe he has some ex-students who can do the work.

As a jeweler and diamond-setter I must say Gypsy is one of the easiest settings to learn and do.
Is there a reason you are not doing them?
Maybe you can ask Owen at https://www.jewelryinstitute.org/ surely he can help you find someone.
You dont need the magnet! I made my own powerhone. And made the case out of stainless steel. So the magnet doesn't work on it. Just keep 1 hand on the base and 1 on the head. And your good to go.
And even Jura's machine is a copy of someone elses idea. Sergey Waltman is the original inventor of these type of gravers. It is the same type of machines that Shawn Hughes and others made. With the tirepumps.
Here is Sergey's channel :

If your current job pays enough to work 1 day less a week and still pay the bills. Then you can have 1 day a week to do engraving. And still have your weekends to do errands and relax. Then if the engraving starts to make money. There will be a point were you can engrave 2 days a week. And it...
