    OK just the basics hammer and chisel minimum one year, airgravers one month or more. Plus drawing . This is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Just my experience YMMV . After retiring I spent 6 months 8 hrs a day In the shop ,putting chips on the floor, thought I had a good start LOL

    Well I have cut myself so many times ,over the many years working not just engraving now I usually don’t feel it . Just find red lay out dye on my work LOL.

    You need a oil coalescing filter if your compressor is oil lubed, also a moisture filter/trap, if you are in very humid area maybe more than one moisture filter. Also drain your compressor , so what will happen your tool will not work right and may be damaged. So again clean dry air, is...

    My classic and classic palm control, are over 10 years old and run with no problems. Enjoy the journey this craft is a marathon not a sprint Also clean dry air is mandatory, again clean dry air,no water,no oil.

    Too temper I put them in a toaster oven, 350- 400 degrees for a hour and let cool in the oven. How ever you have to hide from the wife if she finds out

    Why don’t you buy a bent line graver and re grind it to what you need. Just a thought MTC Or get some 3/32 key stock to make your own , if you would like some send me a pm and I will send a 6 inch piece to you W2 if the memory serves

    All petroleum products have a risk factor, the very small amount used and the quick flash off . Dont eat it , use in a well ventilated area. As always YMMV
