You are getting pretty handy with them gravers, looks nice.

Dave, rip some old computer power supplies apart, they have some similar pieces in there, come to think of it I must have some around in the shop somewhere..... good idea to use them for work holding

some progress and a question.
I am trying different ways of shading for the fold over section of the flower ends....how would you shade :chip: this area?

That is looking mighty fine Shawn.

One curious question, do you engrave it flat and dome it after? How do you fasten that horn cap.

peter..... dome it after engraving.
I will drill 6 holes around the edge and use brass nails to attach it to the saddle horn.

The fine shading doesn't suffer when doming after engraving? I bend bracelets after engraving but my shading is rather course compared to yours.
