I agree. My evening started out, you could say, pretty crappy, roots in the sewer line... Once I fixed that problem I sat down and started reading. The photography, the stories, I'm totally relaxed now. I had to stop reading so I can have something to look forward to tomorrow. Thanks

Just got mine, but I'm saving it for my overseas flight tomorrow. It's really hard not to open it and read it from cover to cover right now! / ~Sam

Hi Debbie,
I think they're talking about the latest issue of 'The Engraver'. The only way to get it is to join FEGA but the subscription is worth it for the magazine alone. Mine just dropped through the letterbox this morning.

I'd say the membership is worth it just for the book full of information you get sent when you join.

I'd also agree that it's worth it just for The Engraver.

Which means I think you're getting quite a bit of value for your membership. :)

I have heard that while every issue is worth the price of admission, that the current issue is especially good. My worry is that I only signed up for FEGA yesterday. Will #79 be sent to us latecomers, or do we need to wait for #80? I was planning to contact them directly, until this thread fell into my lap...

Andrew,
This issue is like a grand slam home run in the ninth inning of the seventh game of the world series. Excellence at its best. Thanks so much to you and everyone who contributed.

I had signed up just as / after #78 came out and I got it in my 'introduction' pack so you'll probably get #79 in yours.

Andrew,

The issues of the Engraver just keep getting better & better. Don't know how you do it!! You are continually raising the bar - excellence has long since been passed; you are now on to the sublime!!

Thanks to Andrew and to all those who contributed to this excellent effort,

Weldon

Did you get about an inch thick stack of loose pages? That's what I actually got but since they were already punched and binders are cheap...

Hi Marcus,
No the international engravers aren't second class, just you Brits...
:)
Just kidding. Actually, because of the cost of shipping the how-to handbook is only sent to US members when they join. You can go to the web site and download it however.
I will have to also say that Andrew outdid himself again!!
Great issue.

Thanks, Andrew. Another killer issue.
I posted most of my grats on the FEGA forum after Weldon.
Thanks to all the writers and grats to Miss Faye.
Long live FEGA.
