Help, please: Looking for a Ring Mandrel that goes up to a size 17?

Hello I have been searching all over the internet looking for a ring mandrel that goes up to a size 17. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? All I can find at the moement are ones that go up to a size 16. Thanks for your help

Bought a couple 40 years ago - when we still had the trade shop, but it's a little hard to remember from whom/where...

They DO exist. Just dunno who carries 'em nowadays.


I have one that goes from 7 to 20. Has what looks like "DIXON" stamped on it.


Then there's another about half the length of a "normal" mandrel that goes from 16 to 24!

That one says "JARVI" on it. It's a short one, half the length of a "normal" one.


You can search a hardware store for a bolt or sumthin' close enough - if it's just one job.

A machine shop might have piece of round stock scrap the right size, or might make you a quick one if you have the specs?
