A member recently received an email notification of a forum private message. The email notification contained the contents of the private message, and the member hit REPLY from the email instead of going to the forum to reply. This caused the reply to be sent to the forum's email address (mine) instead of via a private message. This caused some confusion and concern.
I have made two changes:
1.) should this happen again, an email reply will go to NO-REPLY@ENGRAVERSCAFE.COM and it will bounce back to the sender and he/she will know it failed to send.
2.) I have turned off the setting that shows the entire contents of a private message in an email notification, so now you will have to go to the Cafe to read the PM.
Bottom line: Read and reply to PMs in the Cafe and not via email.
