Here it is in the first tryout.
Lazy Susan turntable base. Leather lined Front brake rotor for the stand.
Hubcap full O lead as the ball base.
Magswitch plate with the vise on top.
We will see how well it works...

Instead of the lead shot, I used BB's and mixed some epoxy in with them to make a great filler to add weight. They are cheap and heavy.

Yeah, mass it has!
I think I will need to reinforce the desk if I want to keep using it.
It's starting to sag.
Probably go with a separate stand for the ball once I get the Microscope home.

Less than half the weight of lead by volume and no cheaper than RECLAIMED shot.
