It's a difficult question to answer, and I'm not sure there is an answer. It's kind of liking asking "how do I learn to compose music tastefully?" So much comes from trial and error and a commitment to constant practice and study, and I don't mean 30 min a day. You pretty much have to be...
Eyepiece focus locks for Leica A60 microscopes.
The Leica A60 is one of the best bench microscopes I have ever used. I don't use a headrest so when my face touches the soft rubber eyecups, the eyepieces can turn a small amount and defocus. I CAD designed these focus locks to prevent this, and...
If you decide to go with a GRS pneumatic system, I would highly recommend their sharpening system as well, because the two are made for each other.
Pneumatic makes everything faster and easier and with more control.

I have made these by sharpening a normal 120 from carbide or HSS and then use a blue or grey wheel to grind away the underside. Alexandre and Johnny Oro both sharpen by hand with a micromotor. My way works fine but maybe theirs is better.
Here's a pic of a cobra graver that Alexandre sent to me.
Try 'em all and see which one you like. In the hands of a master they can all produce world class engraving. I'm a biased GRS guy for sure and have been using their pneumatic systems since 1989 (although I bought a GRS GraverMeister and vise in 1980 but sold the 'Meister).
If you want palm...
You can try to troubleshoot via GRS documents for their machines, but unfortunately you have a Chinese knockoff which is notoriously bad. You might contact the seller, but most are just selling junk products and are unable to provide support.
I would get the largest iPad available. 12" I think. Also get the Apple Pencil.
That's it. Nothing else required unless you buy a case. This is an absolutely excellent one.
