Looks great Sam… would have guessed you younger. My wife’s grandfather kept a garden and rebuilt tractors well into his late 80’s, it is a blessing to have good health.
When returning a firearm back to the owner for work done ( engraving ) no background check needed just receipt for said work and recorded in your A&D records (Acquisition & Disposition) book… it’s like sending it to a gunsmith.
It will change the geometry slightly to the Lindsey templates depending on the thickness of the metal sheet, the measurement from the top of the hone to the plastic rest is a 1/2 inch which is what the templates need to achieve proper angles and what the Tom White hone was originally designed...
I have found that it helps if my tip is narrowed a bit more don’t round the corners just take the corners off and with just a slight heel on the tip no dubbing…. never tried titanium. Of course this can vary depending on the area of inlay, I use Roland Baptiste’s inlay template.
