Hello Shane.
If you would put your general location in your bio then maybe a close bye engraver would invite you to see their set up and help you out a bit.
One setup that might work is a stack of concrete blocks, covered to the floor by a plain table cloth.
Or you can use a tool rollaway...
Thanks Michael,
I failed to say that I also drill a couple of small vent holes in the cap of the bottle to release the
pressure when draining the tank.
And hold a shop cloth over the cap/hose area while venting the tank.
Hello Goldjocky,
I have the same drain system. I installed a plastic hose, using a small hose clamp, to the nozzle on the top of the tank. Drilled a hole in the cap of a half-gallon juice jug to fit the end of the hose. No splash or mess when I drain my condensation water and juice jug only...
Thanks for the info Leland. Thought it looked too good for just a 20 minute job ! :)
You did a great job on this nice old Winchester.
Good to see it get the care it deserves.
Hi to "the other" Sam.
You may remember that our dear departed friend Sid Bell, "The Alaska Silversmith" was a great proponent and user of the Camera Lucida for modeling and detailing his animal carvings.
Like you, Sid spent a lot of time on Kodiak Island, Alaska and became very resourceful...
Congratulations on your very special Colt S.A.
Very nice story about Ken Hurst, a wonderful gentleman and fine engraver.
I'm glad Lisa was able to undertake the finishing of the engraving project for you.
Even though she was close to Ken, finishing others work is a monumental job.
I do hope you...
