    I get beading tools from Gesswein in 100 packs, depending on the steel I have use one tool on a complete job other time broke a bunch LOL. Good luck just like gravers they are consumable tools

    Hot glue the wire to the dowel,or glue to a flat surface mount in vise before wrapping the wire around the dowel.

    I always quench in alcohol never get any scale but be very careful MTC YMMV i also use John B’s diving board system to heat the metal

    Make a test cut under the slide, but beware of spot hardened areas around the safety and slide release slot. Let use know how it goes.
