    Never tried a flat. Think I have seen it used in western bright cut on youtube. Maybe I will try that method. Is there any special angles(face/heel) you prefere when cutting such work ?

    Hoping for Inlay Tips

    I have also seen the video from Thierry Duguet where he just stipples the background. Wonder if it`s strong enough for holding the gold in place? Maybe he use different angles when he make such undercuts. Can anyone tell? Jørn-Ove

    I have tried this method with brass tubes and sewing needles instead of carbid burrs. Works good. Have to try this method.Thx for the tip.

    Many years since I read James B Meeks book, but if I remember correct, he wrote that you can use cotton in a bowl/can, soake with a few drops of kerosene/lamp oil as cutting fluid.
