Thank you all for very nice feedbacks. Im really appreciate it. The hardest time for me is still the drawing/designing part, but it getting better each time. Still have a long way to go there....
Sam, I will of course put some pictures in here when the knife is finished, if its ever gonna be...
I really have to take a closer look on this. Again as an foreinger with minimal english skills I see that here it is something to take a second look at. My point is that this forum is the best, if you really want to learn engraving.
Hi forum friends. As always, it`s been a while since last project. Here is a knife blade I`m working on. The blade is made of stainless Aeb-l steel and it`s now ready for HT. Hope I don`t ruine it under next process.
Anyway here is som progress pictures:)
Drawing outlines of the pattern...
I use the same method as you Dani, but I really recommend the waxy backside paper on shipping labels. The toner transfer immediately with a quick burnish with my finger nail.
I have used regular parchment (baking paper) from home depot, but I`ve found a better solution. Print on the "waxy" paper from normal shipping labels. The transfer with a "dammar solution" or something simular will be perfect:) Here is a link so you can see what I mean.
I have a cheap HP laserjet pro P1102w. For many years the acetone method didn`t work, only with "parchment method" or simular. When I ran out of toner, I bought a new toner casette, and now the acetone transfer method work like a charm.

Nice first try Alfredo. Look much better than my first one. I am not an expert, but I`m with Monk here. A tip from me., draw in large scale, it is easier to see errors and flaws and if you struggle, ask for help before cutting next one. Keep drawing and keep cutting:-)
If you don`t get any better, you can maybe try this:
Shock Wave Therapy for Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis (verywellhealth.com)
I have tried it, didn`t work for me, but many of my firends have had exellent results....
