Not so much engraving lately, but have made a knife to my sisters daughter with theme from our national costume in northern Norway (Nordlandsbunad). The engraving isn`t the most adwanced, but it turned out okey I think. Here is some pictures during process and som picture...
My friend have taken a closer look on the vice. It`s probably the brass pin who cause thje problen. He could`nt get it out. Have told him to either call or use the e-mail adress I gor from you. Thanks for the help guys:-)

I have a friend here in Norway who have problems with his Grs standard block vice. It will not turn smoothly. I gave him advice to send a request to Grs Company, he did, but he didnt get any response from them. Im certain that many of you experienced...
I have also tried zapon lacquer with same result as dammar varnich. about 50% lacquer and 50% denatured alcohol. Think any shellack solution probably will give okey results.... The zapon lacquer solution is what I use today. Cant find any dammar varnish in the local stores where I live:-)
