    I think the Bison is much improved and well done. The large scroll on the left originating from a smaller scroll needs fixing. Try revising the layout of these left side scrolls. And what is the little element in the outside of the right hand end scroll,please?

    Looking for an affordable way to get started

    Might I suggest you contact Ngraver Company an buy two steel graver handles and a couple of their pre- sharpened gravers. Your vise will service (bad pun) to get you started if you clamp or or fasten the base to something solid. Your hammer looks good. Best of luck and enjoy your engraving journey.

    Hi Allan and Jay, At this time very few people perceive even the finest engraving to be Fine Art. And that is a sad situation and must leave the "fine art engraver" frustrated and unrewarded. But that's life and the way it is at this time. We need to continue the work of educating the public.
